Cornelia Pauline Hodson

Born in La Grande Oregon on Jul. 10, 1909

Departed on Dec. 26, 2002 and resided in Seattle, WA.

Mrs. Hodson had taught for many years at high schools in Irrigon Oregon, Prosser and Mt. Vernon WA. She had her B.A. from Whitman College and her M.A. from Columbia University.

In earlier years she had been active in the Business and Professional Women's Club, the League of Women Voters, the American Association of University Women, and in Saranac Lake New York, the Hospital Auxiliary and the Village Improvement Society.

She had also served as a member of the Blue Ridge Orthopedic Guild and the Blue Ridge Garden Club. She was married to Dr. George Hodson in 1948.

He preceded her in death in 1985. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline Hansen of La Grande Oregon, where she was born.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and her close friend since 1938, Patricia Foster. Cremation will take place with private inurnment at St. Dunstan Episcopal Church.
