Harry J. Stone, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital in Salisbury, NC. Harry was born on June 20, 1930 in Tad, WVA, the son of Harry W. and Lillian Cantley Stone. Harry served in the US Army in Korea and two tours of duty in Vietnam, retiring after 22 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked with the Ford Motor Company.

Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine W. Stone in March of 2014. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Harry Frederick "Freddy " Stone of Huddleston, VA; daughters, Deborah Jean Brown and husband Everette of Tallmadge, OH and Cathy Lynn Stophel and husband Randy of Ruffin, NC.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park with full military rites. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
