Beatrice Pearson, 84, of Dora, died Sunday, June 5, 2005, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005, at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home with burial in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Pearson's eldest son, Larry Eugene Pearson will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Pearson; and a granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughters, Meairl Cole and her husband, Wayne, of Jasper, Rachel Morris and her husband, H.Y., of Dora and Fay Cecil Evans of Nauvoo; sons, Larry Eugene Pearson and his wife, Cheryl, of Hamilton, Mont., and Pete Pearson and his wife, Lynette, of Dora; brother, Robert Skinner and his wife, Zummer, of Sumiton; 12 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
