Leon O. Thomas, 55, of Eastaboga, Rt. 1, an employe of Anniston Ordnance Depot, died yesterday afternoon about 4 o'clock in the AOD parking lot of a heart attack. He was leaving for home at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearle C. Thomas; two sons, Howard and William Thomas, of Eastaboga; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Jones of Choccolocco, Mrs. Audrey Haney of Eastaboga, Mrs. Lola Beal of Anniston, Mrs. Sara Aldridge of Anniston, Miss Elvira Thomas of Eastaboga; and Miss Lillie Thomas of Eastaboga; and one sister, Mrs. Lola Waugh of Anniston.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church by the Revs. C. E. Haver and Lester Doss. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Jones in charge.
