Brenda T. Keck, 69, of Burlington died at her residence on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 6:24 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Jack W. Keck, who survives and the daughter of Brodie and Rosa Terrell, both deceased. She was a former employee with Winn-Dixie for over 30 years. She enjoyed the lake and camping with friends, going to the beach with her sisters, and traveling with her husband. Brenda was a member of St. Mark’s Church.
In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include a son, Jimmy C. “Jay” Parker, Jr. and wife Denice of Burlington; two sisters, Clara Gibson and Audrey McIver, both of Burlington; a brother, Carlton Terrell and wife Gwen of Burlington; two grandchildren, Arizona Parker and Drew Parker; sister-in-law, Kathryn Keck; special friend, Diane Campbell; and her dog companion, Scooter.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Overman, Betty Church and Judy Winstead and an infant brother, Buddy Terrell.
A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Ben Bishop. The family will receive friends at the residence.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Home, C/O the Hospice League of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
