TYLER — Stathen Heath Shuttlesworth, 34, of Arp, was born on September 8, 1980 in Tyler to Deborah Lyles Howard and Dicky Wayne Shuttlesworth. Stathen died at his home on November 30, 2014.
Stathen graduated from Arp High School and Tyler Junior College. He attended The University of Texas at Austin where he earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry and a dual degree in biology. Stathen was currently enrolled in The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and working towards his medical degree.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Deborah Lyles Howard and David Charles Howard; father and step-mother, Dicky Wayne Shuttlesworth and Barbara Shuttlesworth; two grandmothers; two uncles, an aunt and several cousins, all of Arp.
Pallbearers will be Randall (Dugan) Lyles, Colton Lyles, Jon Farrell Lyles, Mark Andrews Jr., Justin Carson and Dallas Freeman.
