Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Fanning, formerly of Williston who died Sunday morning in Union, S.C., were held at the Williston Methodist Church Monday afternoon, Sept 5th conducted by Rev. P.I. Bouknight, assisted by Rev. W.R. Davis.
Interment followed at the local cemetery.
Mrs. Fanning, who was Miss Lena Bogacki before her marriage to Mr. Sullivan Fanning, had lived in Williston all of her life until about four years ago when she went to Union to live with her daughter, Mrs. G.L. Kirby. She was 74 years of age and a loyal member of the Williston Methodist Church of which she had been a member since girlhood. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. G.L. Kirby; a son, G.W. Fanning, Macon, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. M.T. Wise, Fairfax; two brothers, J.J. Bogacki, Augusta, Ga. and C.Y. Bogacki of Montgomery, Ala.
