The son of Howard F. Wadlow and Elizabeth "Jane" Spangle, "Stan" married (Living) Medford on 13 Aug 1977 in Jerseyville, Jersey County, Illinois. They did not have any children.

Stan was employed by the C & W John Deere in Jerseyville. He then worked as a foreman for Archer Daniels Midland until his retirement.

Stan was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. He enjoyed helping others by mowing their yards, and was a member of the Jerseyville Moose Lodge.

Stan died at Barnes Jewish Hospital at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 10 days. He was survived by his wife; 1 sister and brother-in-law of Jerseyville; 2 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, all of Jerseyville; his mother-in-law of Alton; his "special little girlfriend" who was a dear 7-year-old neighbor; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his father-in-law, George Medford.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on 03 Dec 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church in Jerseyville. Funeral services were conducted there at 10 a.m. the following morning. Alexander and Gubser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to the church or to Cardinals Care.
