Nellie B. Bradley was born July 27, 1930, in Springfield, Tennessee, to Zelmo and Amanda Wells. She went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2014.
Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Bradley; her father, Zelmo Wells; her mother, Amanda (nee Pope) Wells; four brothers, William Thomas Wells, Robert L. Wells, Charles Edward Wells, and Theopolis Wells.
Nellie leaves to cherish her memory to her children, Paula Allen of Joliet, Illinois, Carmencita (Lyndon) Floyd of Orlando, Florida, and Preston (Diane) Bradley of Joliet, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Dusean (Kristi) Cage, Christina (Eugene) Massey, Bradley Floyd, Alexandra Floyd, Eric Dahmen, and Christine Norris; five great-grandchildren, Brianna Cage, Tyler Cage, Nasir Campbell, Kailah Norris, and Kaylah Norris. She also leaves behind her sister, Mertha Miller.
Visitation Friday, November 7, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Minor-Morris Funeral Home, 112 Richard Street, Joliet, IL, and also Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until Service at 10:00 a.m., at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 104 E. Zarley Blvd., Joliet, IL.
Interment following at Elmhurst Cemetery.
