Funeral services for Jimmy Franks Dean of Stewart will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Reed's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery near Stewart. Rev. Max Blackwelder will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 2, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mr. Dean, 75, died at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus on Sunday, November 30. He was born in Webster County on June 23, 1939, to the late Luther and Margaret Green Dean. He was a retired log truck driver and a member of Union Baptist Church near Stewart.

Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Evelyn Dean of Stewart; two daughters, Pam Laney of Kilmichael and Brandi Orr of Stewart; two sons, Bruce Dean of Stewart and Phillip Dean of Stewart; two sisters, Elaine Mosley of Stewart and Margaret Ishee of Eupora; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Roger Green, Billy Ray Cummings, Robert Bright, Carl Bright, Eric Yeatman, and Heath Yeatman. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Lane and Timmy Green.
