Richard Ray Hedrick, 77, of Bicknell, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his residence. Richard was born July 28, 1937, in Indianapolis, the son of Clifford Hedrick and Pauline (Cargal) Hedrick Pahmeier. He married Lou (Snellenberger) Bastide on March 28, 1986, and she survives him. He retired as an iron worker for the Iron Workers Local 22, and after retirement, he worked at the Bicknell Country Club. Richard was a member of the French Club, Bruceville Rod and Gun Club, Edwardsport Masonic Lodge 429, Bicknell Country Club, and Marine Corps of Vincennes. He served in the United States Marine Corp.
Along with his wife, Lou, Richard is survived by his daughters, Teri Green Axmaker of Bend, OR and Becky Pulesco of Grand Rapids, MI; sons, Rick Hedrick of Deluthe, MN and Bill Marsh; granddaughter, Anne Goff and husband Jeff of Bicknell; great-grandchild, Hayle Goff of Bicknell.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sue Brown; two step-daughters, Stephanie Bastide and Julie Bastide Jones.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday December 3, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel with a celebration of life held at 7:00 PM with Jeff Chambers officiating.
