CHRISTOPHER LEE PINKSTON, 18, went to be with his Father in Heaven on November 29, 2003. Chris was born August 22, 1985, in Tyler, TX. He moved to Houston with his family in 1988, attended school in Alief until 2001, and graduated from Rocky Mountain Academy in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, in May of 2003. Chris' time on this earth was short but he lived it his way. He was inquisitive and enjoyed learning about things. He loved a challenge and loved to challenge others. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to. As he approached young manhood, Chris enjoyed the outdoors and spent time hiking and camping in the wilderness. He respected all living things and was a very spiritual young man. Chris touched many people's lives in a special way and he will be missed by all that knew and loved him deeply, but his spirit will remain in their hearts forever. His father, Frank E. Pinkston, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Rachel Pinkston and fiancée, Gary Brown; sister, Erin Roberts and husband, Doug; grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Melanson, and Curtis and Zuetta Pinkston of Port Neches. Aunts are Deborah Melanson; Sue Greenway and husband, Jeff, of Port Neches; Uncle: Joe Pinkston of Longview. Cousins: Curtis Pinkston and wife, Jennifer; Kelly Bridges and husband, Lance; and Travis Greenway.
