Oliver H. Murrow was born in 1824 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, the third of seven children of John William Murrow and Mary Amelia Louisa Badger Murrow. Oliver had four brothers and two sisters. He was the second husband of Ann M. Murrow whose first husband was a Mr. Wolfe. Oliver had three stepsons and two stepdaughters. His heritage was Irish.
He died October 20, 1873 at about age 49 and is probably buried near his wife in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Orangeburg County. I hope one of his descendants will add his photo to this site.
