WALTON, SANDRA SMITH, age 70, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Paul Douglas Walton; four children, Mike (Lynn) Walton, Shelli (Chuck) Sexton, Gary (Becky) Walton, Paula (Corey) Gunter ; 13 grandchildren, Justin Walton, Shana Pitre, Maci Walton, Charlie and Sandi Sexton, Will and Drew Bozeman, Brittany and Ashlyn Walton, Sean and Chelsea Walrond and Cade and Cami Gunter; and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers, Milton (Metta) Smith, Dan (Margy) Smith and Steve (Debbie) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Ruth Smith and sister, Beverly LeMaster. A church service will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 2:00 PM, burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 from 5:00-7:30 PM. The family would like to express their gratitude for the many friends and St. John United Methodist Church for the prayers, love, and support throughout Sandra's illness.
