Mr. Samuel Joseph “Sam” Sparks, age 59 of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1955 in El Dorado Springs, MO to Charles Sparks and Ruth Phinney Sparks.

Sam was a member of the Twin Lakes Baptist Church. He graduated from ASU-Mountain Home as a Phi Theta Kappa. He was employed as a radiology technician. He was a talented musician playing all the stringed instruments.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Sparks of Mountain Home; a sister, Earlene (Larry) Tucker of Mountain Home; a brother Tom (Nancy) Sparks of Lakeview; 2 step-nieces and a step-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sparks.

Visitation will be from 11 until 1 PM Friday, December 5, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home. A funeral service, conducted by Daryl Young will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Samuel Sparks Memorial Fund// c/o Integrity First Bank.
