Funeral services for Mrs. Eula Boatright Denton, 81 of Spearsville, were held at 2 p.m. last Friday at Mt. Union Baptist Church in Spearsville with the Rev. Forrest Post officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Denton died last Wednesday at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home in Bernice after a long illness. She was a member of the Merry Wood Baptist Church at Haughton.
Survivors include two sons, Delyn Boatright of Hooks, Texas and John Boatright of Henderson, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Upshaw Springer of Bossier City; one sister, Mrs. Ora Manning of Spearsville; nine grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Henderson, Purvis Christian, Melvin Stone, Dale Elkins, Wayne Manning and Drue Rockett.
