MOUNT PLEASANT, Sanpete County -- Joseph Martin BOHNE, 84, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Flora B. WILLIAMS, Mount Pleasant, of causes incident to age.
Mr. BOHNE was born in Spring City August 22, 1867, a son of Martin Sophus and Adelia Wing BOHNE. He married Clara Adelia LOWE at Nephi October 31, 1892.
He worked with his father as a farmer and livestockman for many years. In 1907 his family moved to Garfield where he was employed in the Magna and Arthur mills.
In 1931 the family moved to Mount Pleasant, where he had since resided.
Survivors include five sons and four daughters; Ralph BOHNE, Bakersfield, California; Mrs. Flora B. WILLIAMS, Mount Pleasant; Gerald BOHNE, California; Victor BOHNE, Magna; Cecil R. BOHNE, Lomita, California; Mrs. Mary B. KEESECHER, Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Ella May B. ZABRISKIE, Magna; Miles BOHNE, Torrance, California, and Mrs. Sarah B. ALBANO, Springville; four brothers, Byron A. BOHNE, Mount Pleasant; William A. BOHNE and Arthur O. BOHNE, Fairview; Martin BOHNE, Santa Monica, California; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Seely TWIPIN, Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Arrilla B. NIELSEN, Fairview; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant South Ward L.D.S. Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery under direction of Jacobs Mortuary.
