Lela Marie Davis of Liberty died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 at Casey County Hospital. She was 96. Born in Liberty on Aug. 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Bee and Sarah Elizabeth Lay Monday. She was the widow of Worth Davis. Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Garrett of Liberty; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and a sister. Funeral services were Oct. 7 at Whited Cemetery. Bartle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
