Born April 23, 1919 to Chester and Carrie Gillam Wheeler of Macon, Roberta was the fourth of six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Joseph Wheeler, Rachel Elliott, Mavis Lewis, and Chester Wheeler, Jr.
She is survived by a sister, Virginia Wheeler Curry, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
