Jimmy William Harvey, 72, loving husband, father and grandfather, of 211 Echo Circle, died November 29, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late William and Agnes Edge Harvey, he was a retired employee of Springs Industries, a US Navy Veteran and a member of Echo Hills Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta Grant Harvey of the home; five daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and James Lavender of Inman, Shelly Painter of Cowpens, Ann and Rick Millwood of Inman, Julie Smith of Greer and Beverly and Thomas Johnson of Pacolet; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Susan Harvey of Reidville, Jeff and Amy Harvey of Greer, Billy Harvey of Spartanburg and Robbie Waddell of Union; son-in-law, Randy Gilstrap of Inman; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leland and Susan Harvey and Donnie and Julia Harvey; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret Pearson, Barbara and Ray Ringler and Roberta and Sam Clark; twenty-one grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Harvey was predeceased by one daughter Jennifer Gilstrap, two brothers, Terry Harvey and Randy Harvey and three sisters, Marie Burgess, Elizabeth Bright and Willy Mae Gilbert.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Fred Brown and Rev. Jay Crawford. Burial will follow in Westwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Echo Hills Baptist Church, 204 Bert Drive, Greer, S.C. 29651.
