Carolyn Moore Burton, age 76, of Corner, Alabama, passed away on October 28th. She was born and raised in Walker County. She started her career with the State of Alabama and retired there after 37 1/2 years. She met and married the love of her life in March, 1958. They spent 44 wonderful years together raising their family, and traveling to many destinations seeing God's country together. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold B. "Buddy" Burton Sr., her brother-Billy J. "Bill" Moore, her parents, Howard and Ethel Moore, and a baby brother Harold Moore. She is survived by her family: Arnold B. "Bert" Burton Jr. and wife, Sharon; Barry M. Burton and wife, Karen; Paul R. Sherer and wife, Linda. Grandchildren: Brittney Burton, Ashley Burton, Andrew Burton, Brian Robbins (Kameron), Brooklyn Robbins, Jeremy P. Sherer (Christy) and Nicki Faulk. Great Grandchildren: Finn Sherer and Ryland Sherer. Sister's in Law: Wilma Moore and Sara Burton.
