∼OBITUARY OF NELS C. CHRISTENSEN
Nels Christen CHRISTENSEN, 82, died Tuesday at 10:00 p.m., presumably of a heart ailment, as he celebrated Christmas Day and his wedding anniversary, at his home, 1170 8th East.
A son of James and Anna Christena Johnson CHRISTENSEN, he was born in Mount Pleasant, Sanpete County, September 18, 1869. A retired farmer, he had resided in Salt Lake City for the past 18 years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He married Anna Margaret BROTHERSON in Salt Lake City on Christmas Day, 40 years ago.
Survivors include his widow; a sister, Laura Olsen WATKINS, Salt Lake City, and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Thirty-First L.D.S. Ward (Princeton Ward) Chapel, 1140 9th East, by Hendrik Poelman, bishop.
Friends may call at 36 East 7th South until time of Services. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant City Cemetery.
