Rosalyn was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Cascade, the daughter of Peter and Catherine Bertling Weber. She was a graduate of the former St. Mary's High School in Cascade and a 1934 graduate of St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Carroll. On Oct. 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to Harry Jackson at St. Mary's in Cascade. They were married for 54 years.

Rosalyn was employed as a nurse in Iowa and California until 1948. She and her husband then owned and operated a restaurant and motel in Breezewood, Pa., until 1987, when they moved to Cedar Rapids. She was a member of St. Ludmila's Parish in Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Barbara Kurt, Margaret Hosch, Irene Strang and Hilda Weber; a brother, William Weber, in infancy; three half-sisters; and three half-brothers.
