John A. Angelo, 90, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at St. Joseph Health Center.

He was born Sept.13, 1924, in Warren, the son of the late Zifferino "Ziff" and Maria Angelo.

John was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He retired from ITT Grinell as a welder after 27 years and had worked at Burnett Pools in Cortland and at Apco Parking in Warren and Youngstown.

John was a member of St. Mary's Church in Warren and Civetellese Club. He enjoyed doing puzzles and organizing social gatherings.

He is survived by his son, Thomas A. Angelo of Warren; two daughters-in-law, Dina Angelo of Liberty and Cathy Fowler of Vienna; two grandchildren, Jenn (Luciano) Vennitti of Warren and John Angelo of Liberty; two great-grandchildren, Giuliana "Guls" Vennitti and Giancarlo "Gio" Vennitti; and a sister, Lucy A. Pinto of Warren.

He preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, June Angelo; son, John "JR" Angelo; a granddaughter, Carlea Angelo; a brother, Joseph "Gigi" Angelo and a sister, Beatrice Angelo.

Family and friends may call 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church in Warren, with the Rev. Bernard Schmalzried and the Rev. Christ Henyk officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
