He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran if WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of the Frosty Mug in Corinth and later retired from Hart's & Country Hearth/Lewis Bread Company with 36 years of service.
He is survived by his daughter Deborah Ann Wiginton and husband Woodie of Corinth, MS along with 10 grandchildren: Jenny Brooks and husband Shane, Chris Gurley, Heather Marolt and husband Keith, Amber Gurley, Joe Gurley, Matt Wiginton, Michael Wiginton, Katrina Sparks, Dawson Lambert and Dennis Caldwell, 8 Great Grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Connie Holloway.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Betty J. Holloway, a son, James David Holloway, a daughter Sharon Caldwell and husband Ronnie, two grandchildren, Jess Wiginton, Cindy Caldwell by his parents James F. and Madgie M. Holloway, brothers Rudolph, George, Dewey and Hewey Holloway and a sister Lorean Holloway.
