Karen Stewart Daniels, 74, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, in Corpus Christi. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, in the chapel of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Mrs. Daniels will be laid to rest following service in the Garden of Faith at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Friends and family are encouraged to gather from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Cherry Drawing Room at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Mrs. Daniels was a graduate of the class of 1958 from L.D. Bell High School where she was a majorette. She retired from Lockheed Martin (formerly General Dynamics). She was married to Bud Stewart until his death in 1994. Survivors: Mrs. Daniels is survived by her husband, Orin "Pete" Daniels; daughter, Lisa Stephens and husband, Billy; son, Gregg Stewart and wife, Irma; sister, Suzanne Dellis and husband, Jimmy; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.
