"Mrs. Mary Whalen, wife of Thomas Whalen, died at the family home, 400 South Main street, Sebastopol, this morning at 4:30 o'clock after three week's illness of complications. She was born in Sebastopol, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Walsh. She was a member of St. John's Church and was highly regarded among a large circle of friends. Beside her husband, she is survived by the following children: James, of Syracuse; Michael, Joseph, Bessie, Angela, Kathleen and Mary at home, also by two sisters, Margaret Walsh of Sebastapol, and Mrs. Patrick Morgan, of Cleveland, Ohio."
