From Troy. At the age of 67 years Mrs, Margaretha Washer of here passed away the previous Friday (9 Dec 1898) after a short sickbed. The deceased was a good-natured and respected lady, who during her lifetime showed much kindness to those in need. Her husband, three sons and a daughter grieve her death. On last Sunday the remains were conveyed from the Methodist Church there to the city cemetery and given over to the bowels of the earth to their final rest.
