Dorothy Marie Swearingin, age 85, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 in the Weatherford Hospital. Mrs. Swearingin was born September 13, 1929 in Weatherford where she was a lifelong resident. Graduate of Weatherford High School, Texas Class of 1947. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband; Jimmy Swearingin and son in law, Dobber Morris.

Survivors: Daughters; Beverly Hooker and husband, Gene of Weatherford, Connie Morris and special friend Rex Pennington of Weatherford, son; Bubba Swearingin and wife Debbie of Weatherford, sister, Virginia Tarver and husband Glenn of Rockland, CA, brothers, Henry Driver and wife Katherine of Weatherford, Bobby Driver of Denton, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Curtis Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
