Ross, Nicholas 74 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Friday March 9, 2012 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL, from complications of multiple myeloma. He was born January 17, 1938 in Chicago, moving to Antioch in 1962, where he was a member of St. Peter Church. Nicholas was a graduate of Northern Illinois University and Notre Dame University. Before his retirement in 2004 from the University of Illinois Circle Campus, Nicholas was a teacher of German at Antioch Community High School and instructor of Computer Languages at Oakton Community College. On August 8, 1970 he married June Zehnder at St. Dismas Church, Waukegan, IL. Survivors include his wife of 41 years June, and many friends and students. He was preceded in death by his mother Jean Ross and by his daughter Gina in 2007 from complications of leukemia. Funeral Services with Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Saturday March 17, 2012 at St. Peter Church, Antioch, IL. Interment will be private in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. Arrangements were entrusted to the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH.
