Obituary of Louise B. Black

Louise B. Black, 92, a resident of Kiln, MS, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014.

Mrs. Black is preceded in death by her parents, William C and Lela Bell; her siblings, C.P. Bell, Erin, Kelsey, Jeanette, Irene, Mattie, Edna, and Bertie; her daughter, Nellie Griffith and her first husband, Kay Griffith.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Billy C. Black of Kiln, MS; her children, Billy Jack Bell of Pass Christian, MS, and John H. Griffith of Kiln, MS; her ten grandchildren and her ten great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Black worked as a welder during World War II building aircraft and as a seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith and was very active and enjoyed the outdoors.

There will be a visitation for friends and family on Monday, December 1, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian, the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Diamondhead, MS
