Dana was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1945. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Dana married Jewel Woodbury on December 26, 1948 in Salina. He worked for Cappers Insurance for 16 years and then for I.D.S. for 11 years. Dana managed the Elks Club for over 8 years before returning to Cappers at the state manager for 10 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, BPOE and the American Legion. He is preceded in death by parents, infant daughter, Brenda and 2 brothers.

Daughter: Lana and husband Ron Davis, Emporia, KS
4 Grandchildren, 3 Step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 Step-great-grandchildren
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, KS
Officiating the service will be Rev. Scott Lingle
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 3-8 PM Thursday. The family will greet friends from 5-7 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
