John Brack Rigsby, Jr., 78 of Columbus, OH, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. He was born on March 31, 1936 to the late Myrtle J. (Caudill) and John B. Rigsby, Sr., in Magoffin County, KY.
He served during the Korean War and retired from Overnite Transportation after driving 4 million miles all over the U.S. and teaching others to drive. His passion was his family, the Bible, joke-telling and relaxing by the pool.
He was also preceded in death by
sisters, Bertha Jayne and Ethel Lehman;
brothers, John Paul, Marcus and Corbett Rigsby.
He is survived by
his wife of 52 years, Patricia (Stoll) Rigsby;
three children, Brent Rigsby, Sonia (Tom) Dotson and Dustin (Marsha) Rigsby;
grandchildren, Billie Salmons, Zach and Cortney Dotson, Jessica, Melissa and Jacob Bragg;
siblings, Roy (Greta), Mary Justice, Martha Ann Bliss, Joe, Herman (Charlene), Thurman (Linda), Margaret Smith and Sue (Don) Coston;
numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
