Howard William Agron, a beloved man, died on November 28, 2014. He was born on March 8, 1929 and was the youngest child of Casle and Sue (Zigelman) Agron.

On June 25, 1950, he married Nadine Klopper Agron who would be the love of his life. They were married for close to 62 years until her death on March 9, 2012. He was a loving father to children Karen Agron Flattery (Kevin), Jeffrey Agron (Joy) and Scott Agron and a wonderful grandfather to Justin Gillespie, Lyndsey Agron and Samantha Agron.

Howard adored his family and he had a very strong sense of his responsibility to provide for his family. He had an admirable work ethic and was in the grocery business almost his entire adult life. Up to his final days he spoke of how much he missed working.

He was a sweet, gentle man who had a big smile for everyone. He never met a stranger and he made each person he spoke to feel that they were special. Howard had a beautiful male soprano voice and in his younger days sang in the Kehilath Israel Synagogue High Holy Day Choir.

He was a member of Congregation Beth Torah and a former member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue. A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 30th at Congregation Beth Torah and a funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st at Louis Memorial Chapel with burial at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Donations in Howard’s memory may be made to Congregation Beth Torah.
