Ann N. Dial was born to Solomon Dial and Mary McClish. Evidently Ann had been married to a Mr. Southerland. Ann Southerland is shown in the 1850 US Census, living with her son Edward Southerland 4 yrs old,and Ann's mother Mary McClish, in Colebrook, Ashtabula Co. Ohio. No trace has been found for Edward since that date and he did not show up in the US Census for Asel Andrews in 1860, so I presume he died at a young age.
She married Asel Andrews in about 1850. She was his second wife and raised his two children, Melissa Sophrina and Samuel Eli Andrews after their mother Lura died. Their marriage was blessed with five children, Maria b. 1851, Mary b. 1858, Alexander b. 1859, Emma b. 1861 and Charles Lincoln Andrews, b. 1868.
Her death certificate says she is buried in Bloomingdale Twp. Van Buren Co. MI.(Death Cert. info from Kay Gabel)
There are 3 cemeteries in Van Buren, Co. MI, Robinson, Spring Grove and Pecktown.
