Edna is the daughter of Burnie J. Dalrymple & Sylvia Viola Rositer of Ashtabula County, Ohio. Both of her Grandfathers, Hiram F. Dalrymple & Daniel Rositer, were veterans of the Civil War. Edna married Carl Edward Eddy on 13 February 1917. Edna was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary. Edna & Carl were the parents of Mildred Josephine Eddy Shaw, Viola Jane Eddy Wright, Leroy Carl Eddy, Robert Edward Eddy, Madeline Gertrude Eddy Hecker, & Florence Mae Eddy Loomis. Their son Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran having served overseas in World War II.
