Mrs. Alice Marie Nelson, 57, of New Concord, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bethesda Hospital, where she had been a patient since Sept. 2.
She was born Aug. 30, 1907, in Norwich, a daughter of Mrs. Bessie Atkinson Darner of Norwich, and the late William E. Darner.
Mrs. Nelson lived in New Concord 20 years where she was a member of the Methodist Church. Her first husband, Vibert Bales, died in 1937. She later married William Nelson, who died in 1960.
The body was taken to Mock Funeral Home, New Concord.
