FOXWORTH - Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church for Virginia A. Carney, 83, of Foxworth, who died Feb. 8, 2006, at Marion General Hospital.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Carney was a homemaker and member of Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Carney.
Survivors include three daughters, Hilda Carney, Donna Fortenberry and Jennie Carney, all of Foxworth; a son, Wade Carney of Foxworth; a brother, Harvey Price of Columbia; and three grandchildren.
Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 10, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church for Virginia A. Carney, 83 of Foxworth, who died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006 at Marion General Hospital.
Interment was in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Kenneth Rocko officiated at the service and was assisted by James Carney. Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006 from 4:30 p.m.- until.
A native of Lawrence County, she was a housewife/homemaker and a member of Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sammy Carney.
Survivors include three daughters, Hilda Carney, Donna Fortenberry, and Jennie Carney, all of Foxworth; one son, Wade Carney of Foxworth; one brother, Harvey Price of Columbia; three grandchildren, DaRon Fortenberry, Brandon Carney and Scott Carney; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
