Fannie's parents were John Martin and Fidelia France (ROBEY) KING. Per the 1880 Travis County TX census, Fannie had a twin sister Annie. Both were granddaughters of William Alpheus and Elizabeth King. How terribly difficult the death of her twin sister must have been on Annie.

Very near to the King family lies one of our Unknowns, "FK". I feel this to be the actual burial site of Fannie King, rather than the site of the modern-day granite marker that was obviously placed decades later. Without a family member stepping up with certainty, we will just never know for sure. "FK" is buried next to WA and Elizabeth KING, giving further credence to this actually being Fannie. A tree has grown at the site, and "FK" can be found on the opposite side of that tree. It is unknown if "FK" is a headstone or a footstone.

Annie KING BRATTON died in 1919 and is buried in Fiskville Cemetery. Her stone almost exactly matches Fannie's granite marker.
