In 1977 he was united in the bonds of holy matrimony to Mrs. Sherry Smith Turner.
He was preceded in death by his father Austin Turner, Sr, Lillie B. Turner, Richard Turner, Pearl Blunt Whisenant, Aus Whisenant and Jeremy Bradford.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Ella Whisenant Turner, Wife Sherry Smith Turner, 7 sisters: Sally Bradford, Lillie Evans, Vivian Bothwell, Arletha Oliver, Rhonda Turner, Alice Turner and Roselyn Byers.
9 brothers: Sylvester Turner, Milton Turner, Rolando Turner, Anthony Turner, Alfonzo Turner, Augustin Turner, Sammy Turner, Austin Turner Jr. and Earlie Jones.
Funeral was held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Overcoming Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Ashville, AL.
