Bert was born March 6, 1915, in Cedar Rapids to Frank and Nettie (McArtor) Dvorak. She was married to Jack Ozburn in 1933, they had one daughter, [private]. They later divorced in 1946. One of the Hospice nurses asked Bert what she did for a living, and her response was, I helped put an astronaut on the moon. She did this while working on the Apollo project at Rockwell Collins from where she retired in 1979. Bert had many interests, including sewing, crossword puzzles, and playing cards. Her greatest love was crocheting afghans for her grandchildren and great-greatchildren.
