Elizabeth K. Bauer, nee Bradley, of West Bend, joined husband Millard "Kelly" Bauer on March 24, 2007 at the age of 96 years. She was born in the Town of Farmington to the late Stephen P. and Elizabeth A. (nee Ebert) Bradley.
Elizabeth and Kelly were united in marriage of June 8, 1936 in West Bend. Kelly predeceased November 5, 1998.
She was a dear mother to Barbara (Dr. Thomas) Zabors of Whitefish Bay, Stephen (Amy) of West Bend, Jane (Deming) Sherman of Providence, RI, Elizabeth (John) Dye of Cincinnati, OH, Christine (Richard) Arkenberg of Milwaukee and Mary (Duane) Hotchkiss of Grafton; a loving grandma to Robert (Christine), Linda and John Zabors, Christopher and Nathaniel Bauer, Melissa (William Young) and Nicholas Sherman, John and Lisa Dye and Kathryn and Luke Arkenberg, and great-grandma to Kelly, Lauren and Ryan Zabors and Madeleine Sherman-Young. She will also be missed by many relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her sisters and brothers Gladys (Joseph) Multhauf, Allen W. (Lucy), Ethel, L. Stephen and D.W. "Pat" (Harriet, Margaret) Bradley and granddaughter Christina Zabors.
Elizabeth's family would like to extend special thanks for loving care provided by the Cedar Bay West, Cedar Lake Health Care Center and the Hospice Care team.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 28 at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with burial following in the chruch cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation at the church only on Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m.
The Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend is serving the family.
