Paul E. Cameron, age 74 years of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. He was born in Gladwin on July 15, 1940, the son of Alex “Doc” & Vera (Tenwalde) Cameron. On August 8, 1959, he married the love of his life, JoAnne Hillier in Gladwin. They shared 55 wonderful years together. Paul was employed in the construction trades for most of his life, retiring from Keith Wolfe Enterprises in 2002. He leaves his loving wife: JoAnne Cameron of Gladwin to cherish his memory along with his children: Peggy Cameron of Midland; Marsha (Mike) Jacobs of Gladwin; Shelly Frank of Beaverton; Tammy Cameron of Gladwin. His children blessed him with 6 grandchildren: John Paul Frank; Cameron Matthew Grimes; Kalinda (Clinton) Frisbey; Christopher Jacobs; Katelyn Cameron; Rachel Jacobs; 2 great grandchildren: Matthew Frisbey and Jack Frisbey. He is also survived by his brothers: Larry (Louise) Cameron of Standish; Tom (Beverly) Cameron of Durand; sisters: Agnes Oard of Beaverton; Jean Hickerson of Gaylord; Patricia Haring of Clare; Marcele (Robert) Miller of Gladwin; Susan Lang of Beaverton; brother in-law: Lyle (Deb) McLincha of Bentley; sister in-laws: Dorothy Cameron of Coleman and Joyce Cameron of Gladwin; several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Alex & Vera Cameron; brothers: Kenneth, Richard and Duane Cameron; sisters: Lucille Plude; Helen Ballard and Kathy McLincha. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Withrow on Saturday, November 29, 2014, 12:30 P.M. with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 2-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Grout Twp. Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
