Jamie Ray Kennedy, age 39, of Chadbourn died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.
Final rites will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Dudley officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Monroe and Selina Tyler Kennedy and a maternal grandfather, Thomas Hobbs.
He is survived by his fiancee, Amanda Hinson of Chadbourn, his parents, Tommy Ray and Gail Hobbs Kennedy of Chadbourn; a brother, Jeremy Scott Kennedy of Chadbourn; his maternal grandmother, Helen Clewis Hobbs of Chadbourn; and a special aunt, Lora Ann Hobbs of Chadbourn.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
