He took to Colorado hiking, biking, fishing, camping, climbing, skiing, four wheeling and snowmobiling in all corners of the Rocky Mountains. He loved being outdoors, and any trip with him was certain to be an adventure. He married Susan Velner on August 24, 2012, on top of Tin Cup Pass, another of life's great adventures. Preceding were his biological father Richard Stofferan, cousin Michelle Stensgard, grandparents Lawrence and Grace Stofferan, Dale and Donna Brunk, and Howard and Helen Wilson. Survivors beside Susan included: parents Sharon and Warren Wilson; sister Rhonda (Brad) Hyde; brothers Mike and Tim Velner; Shirley and Don Tesch; and sisters Paula Velner Bain and Laurie Velner Rivard. Celebration of Life held on Tincup Pass. Memorial Donations sent to: Park County Search and Rescue at P.O. Box 194, Bailey; Second Wind Fund, Inc. (Suicide Prevention) at 13701 W.
