ENGEL: Died on Monday, July 24th, 1882 at her home in Boltonville, Mrs.
Elizabeth Engel, wife of Mr. Anton Engel, aged 31 years The deceased was a sister
of Mr. Joseph Bauer of the town of West Bend and of Mrs. H. Kauffing of
Boltonville, was married to Mr. Engel in February, 1881 and leaves one child, a
daughter only three months old. Her funeral is to take place from her late residence
today (Wednesday) when her remains will be interred in the Catholic cemetery at
West Bend.
Anton Engel married Elizabeth (Bauer) Engel and had a daughter, Mathilda (Engel)Rieger 1882-1956 who married Paul Rieger and they lived in Wauwatosa, WI.
