Our dad and grandpa, Kenneth Dale Berry, returned home to be with his eternal sweetheart on Sunday, November 23, 2014. We are grateful for all those who have cared for him this past year at Hunter Hollow, and for the many friends that he made there. He considered all to be part of his family.

Dad was born February 9, 1925, in Thatcher, Arizona, to Oron Waldo Berry and Maudie Jewel Harless. He married Fanny Amelia ox on December 20, 1945, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He served in WWII with the 2nd Armored Division "Hell on Wheels".

Dad and Mom will spend their 69th anniversary together this year. Dad was a gentle giant, a man without guile, with a profound love of family and the gospel. A highlight for Dad was to go on the Utah Honor Flight this past month with sons Jeff and Rick. You are our hero, Dad! We love you!

Dad and Mom had 15 children, ten boys and five girls. He is preceded in death by his wife; children, Melvin Joseph, James Allen, and Cindy; grandson, Richard LeGrande Jr; siblings, Lesley (Lorna), Ida (Melvin) Owen, Claude, Billy, Ina (Bob), and Betty. He is survived by Carla (Glen) Walker, Marsha (Allen) Burnside, Mike (Karen), Robert (Sherry) David (Pam), Richard (Vicky), Steve, Dianne (Miles) Asato, Jon (Rainey Campbell), Jeff (Kari), Tom (Kathryn), and Lizzie (Chris) Bugby; 38 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Alfred (Joyce), Wayne (Joy), and Leora Quigley.
