Betty Ann (Bessling) Moran, 66, of Stanberry, Mo., passed away on Nov. 23, 1999, at a health-care center in Albany, Mo.
Mrs. Moran, born in Pippen, Wis., on Aug. 23, 1933, lived most of her life in St. Joseph before moving to Stanberry in 1983.
A homemaker, she was a member of the New Hampton Christian Church in New Hampton, Mo.
On June 25, 1951, she married Robert Moran Sr. in St. Joseph. He survives of the home in Stanberry.
Mrs. Moran was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; her parents, Robert and Merle Bessling; a brother, Robert Bessling; and a grandchild.
Additional Survivors: two sons, Robert Jr., Ardmore, Ala., and Dennis, Stanberry; six daughters, Nona Cogdill, Bertha Cress and Toni Williams, all of Stanberry, Tiny Shimer, St. Joseph, Belinda Campbell, Belton, Mo., and Tonoa Kirkpatrick, Bethany, Mo.; a foster son, Charles Fisher, Stanberry; a sister, Patsy Stegens, Galesburg, Ill., 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service and Burial: Nov. 26, 1999, at Ashland Cemetery, St. Joseph, Mo.
