Stephen Douglas Payne, age 61, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. He was born July 28, 1953 in Beaumont, TX, the son of the late Clifton Clarence and Carrie Eaves Payne.
Steve was retired from Entergy after thirty three years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and reading. Steve was a member of Joan Hunting Club.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 1, 2014 at Welch Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers are the members of Joan Hunting Club.
