Patsy Ruth Norman, 77, of Vidor, Texas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at her home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at North Orange Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Lynn Ashcraft from North Orange Baptist Church and the Rev. Larry Minton from Harmony Baptist Church in Vidor. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.

Patsy was born in Axtell, Texas, to the late Houston and Thelma (McHargue) Robertson. She was Salutatorian of her graduating class at Axtell High School. Patsy was owner/operator of Town & Country Boutique and Antiques & Uniques, a member of North Orange Baptist Church, an avid Astro's fan who attended yearly Spring training in Florida, an avid bowler, and she loved to shop! Patsy also enjoyed collecting various items from her travels including, hummingbirds and China. Her greatest joy was traveling with her husband and time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill "Uncle Nunie" Robertson.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years and sweetheart of 64 years, Joe C. Norman, of Vidor; daughters: Patsy Jo Wood and husband, Bobby, Carla Ruth Minton and husband, Larry, and Sondra Renee Norman, all of Vidor; son, Carl "Curley" Morgan, of Jasper; grandchildren: Michelle Morgan, of Nederland, Chantel Morgan-Smith and husband, Mike, of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Joe Patrick Morgan and wife, Jaimie, of Villa Rica, Georgia, Richelle Minton-Odom and husband, Jarrod, of Vidor, Raquel Minton-Martin and husband, Craig, of Austin, Christel Minton-Sturm and husband, Lance, of Vidor, Shonna Norman Atkins and husband, Jared, of Vidor, Shon Norman, also of Vidor; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Don Robertson and wife, Betty, of Bryan, Texas; sister-in-law, Delorous "Aunt Nunie" McNeely, of Vidor; and many special friends that she loved dearly.
